Start a career in travel: travel geography, industry codes, airfares and ticketing, hotels, tours and customer service, with reservations in an Amadeus GDS simulation.
The IATA Foundation in Travel and Tourism with Amadeus course develops the essential knowledge and skills to work effectively as a travel professional.
You learn to give travel advice based on customer needs and to use a Global Distribution System (GDS) to create and manage reservations, covering flight products, accommodation, tours, travel requirements and insurance, customer service, sales, travel geography, industry codes, airfares, ticketing and Amadeus functionality.
Study the official e-book (about 200 hours of study) at your own pace, including up to 45 hours in the Electronic Booking Tool, a simulated GDS. You have 12 months from purchase to complete the course and exam.
Cover the same IATA syllabus with guided sessions led by a trainer, at our center in Doha or delivered for your team. Contact us for upcoming dates and group arrangements.
