Team Communication
Learn how teams share information, make decisions and resolve disagreements, and apply practical tools to improve collaboration in face-to-face, hybrid and cross-functional teams.
Build the communication skills a supervisor needs to delegate clearly, coach team members, run productive meetings, address performance issues and manage conflict within the team.
Advanced Communication & Supervisory Skills is designed for people who lead others day to day and need to communicate with authority as well as clarity. The course moves beyond basic communication to the conversations that define a supervisor's role: setting expectations, delegating, coaching, giving corrective feedback, holding team members accountable and resolving disagreements. Participants also learn how to communicate upwards, representing their team's needs to senior managers and translating organizational decisions into practical direction for staff.
The course is highly practical. Participants work through supervisory case studies, rehearse delegation and performance conversations in role plays, and use simple models such as GROW for coaching and situational leadership for adapting their approach. Feedback from the trainer and peers helps each supervisor identify habits to keep and habits to change. It is offered as a public course in Doha, live online, or as an in-house program for organizations developing a group of new or existing supervisors.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
Communicate goals, standards and expectations so team members know exactly what is required
Delegate tasks with clear scope, authority, deadlines and follow-up
Coach team members using the GROW model to build capability
Conduct corrective feedback and performance conversations fairly and constructively
Plan and chair team meetings that end with clear decisions and actions

As Qatar continues to develop its public services, energy sector, construction projects and service industries, organizations depend on capable first-line supervisors to turn plans into results. Supervisors often lead culturally diverse teams and must communicate standards consistently and fairly. Developing these leaders supports Qatar National Vision 2030's goal of a skilled national workforce and helps organizations build an internal pipeline of managers ready for greater responsibility.
