Technical Report and Presentation Skills
Learn to plan, write and present technical reports that decision-makers can follow, turning complex data, findings and recommendations into clear documents, charts and briefings.
Learn how teams share information, make decisions and resolve disagreements, and apply practical tools to improve collaboration in face-to-face, hybrid and cross-functional teams.
Team Communication looks at communication as a shared responsibility rather than an individual skill. The course examines how information flows within a team, why some teams speak openly while others stay silent, and how roles, trust and working norms shape collaboration. Participants explore team development stages, psychological safety, decision-making methods and the communication habits that help teams coordinate work, share knowledge and avoid duplication or gaps, including in hybrid and remote settings where much communication happens through digital tools.
Learning is activity-based. Participants take part in team exercises, analyze case studies of teams that succeeded or struggled, and agree practical communication charters they can apply back at work. The trainer facilitates reflection on real team situations so that insights translate into specific changes. The course is ideal for intact teams attending together and is available as an in-house program for organizations, as well as through public classes in Doha and live online sessions.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
Describe how team development stages affect communication and collaboration
Identify behaviors that build or erode psychological safety in a team
Apply structured methods for team discussion and decision-making
Agree team communication norms covering channels, response times and meetings

Many organizations in Qatar run complex operations through teams that span departments, contractors and nationalities, from infrastructure projects and energy facilities to hospitals, airlines and ministries. When communication between team members breaks down, delays and errors follow. Strengthening team communication helps these organizations deliver on schedule and supports the collaborative, knowledge-based economy described in Qatar National Vision 2030.
Join a scheduled class at our training center in Doha or attend live online. For organizations, the course can run as an in-house program at your premises or online, tailored to your sector, case studies and timetable.
It is a course on how teams share information, build trust, make decisions and handle disagreement. Participants use exercises, case studies and team discussions to agree practical communication norms that improve collaboration in face-to-face, hybrid and cross-functional teams.
Team leaders, project coordinators, members of departmental or cross-functional teams, and staff working in hybrid or remote arrangements. HR and organizational development professionals who support teams will also find the tools useful.
Attending as an intact team is often the most effective option because members can agree shared norms and actions during the course. Individuals attending on their own also benefit, as they gain tools they can introduce to their teams afterwards.
