Prepare to act as a fire warden or fire marshal: carry out routine fire safety checks, lead a safe evacuation of your area, sweep and report at the assembly point, and support the Civil Defence.
Fire Warden and Fire Marshal Training in Doha, Qatar prepares nominated employees to take responsibility for fire safety in their part of a building. Fire warden and fire marshal are two titles for the same role: different organizations and countries simply prefer one name or the other, and this Fire Marshal Training covers the full set of duties under either title. Learners study routine responsibilities such as checking escape routes, fire doors, alarms and extinguishers, as well as emergency duties including raising the alarm, guiding people out, sweeping their area and reporting to the person in charge.
The course is practical and scenario-based. Learners walk through evacuation drills, work on floor plans of typical buildings, discuss how to help visitors and people with disabilities, and practice clear, calm communication under pressure. Fire extinguisher selection and the PASS technique are introduced so wardens can decide when a small fire is safe to tackle. Organizations can book the program in-house, adapting it to their own fire procedures, assembly points and warden structure so new wardens are ready to act on their own floors.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
Explain the routine and emergency duties of a fire warden or fire marshal
Carry out and record daily or weekly fire safety checks in an assigned area
Lead a calm evacuation and sweep the area without putting themselves at risk
Assist visitors and people who need a personal emergency evacuation plan

High-rise offices, hotels, malls, hospitals, schools and labor accommodation in Qatar often hold large numbers of people from many language backgrounds, which makes clear leadership during an evacuation essential. Appointing and training fire wardens or fire marshals is a widely accepted way to make sure every floor is checked and every person is accounted for. The Civil Defence oversees building fire safety and emergency procedures, and a capable warden team helps employers meet those expectations and protect their people.
