The Food Safety & Hygiene Fundamentals course in Doha, Qatar is an entry-level program for anyone who works with food or in a food business, from new kitchen staff to service and stores teams. It builds practical food safety and hygiene awareness: what makes food unsafe, how illness spreads, and which simple daily habits prevent it. Learners cover the four Cs of cleaning, cooking, chilling and cross-contamination control, the temperature danger zone of 5°C to 63°C, and their own legal and moral responsibility to serve safe food.
Sessions are interactive and grounded in real workplace situations, using short case studies, picture-based hazard spotting and group exercises rather than long lectures. No previous training is needed, which makes the course a sound induction step before more specialized food safety study. Learners who need a regulated qualification can choose the Highfield Level 3 Award in Food Safety course instead. Organizations can also book the course as an in-house program, so that whole teams share the same basic awareness and vocabulary.

Qatar's hospitality, catering and retail sectors serve residents and visitors across hotels, restaurants, schools, hospitals and large events, and almost every one of these settings depends on staff who handle food safely. With much of the country's food imported and a hot climate that makes temperature control essential, basic hygiene awareness from the first day of employment protects public health. The Ministry of Public Health oversees food safety, and well-trained workers help businesses meet its expectations and support Qatar National Vision 2030 health goals.
