International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Training in Doha, Qatar

Apply key IFRS standards in practice, including revenue, leases, financial instruments, impairment and presentation, so your financial statements are accurate and compliant.

Course overview

This International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) training is a practical corporate short course on applying the standards issued by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) of the IFRS Foundation. It concentrates on the areas that most often cause difficulty in practice: revenue from contracts with customers, leases, financial instruments, impairment, provisions, property, plant and equipment, and the presentation of financial statements, including the changes introduced by IFRS 18. Participants learn how to translate the requirements of each standard into journal entries, accounting policies and clear disclosures.

The course is workshop-based. Each standard is explained through its core principles, then applied to realistic transactions, extracts from published financial statements and short calculation exercises. Participants discuss judgement areas and typical audit questions so they can document positions confidently. This is a training course rather than a qualification, focused on day-to-day application. It can be delivered as an in-house program in which the examples reflect an organization's own contracts, leases and reporting issues, helping teams prepare for year-end and audit.
