Managing High-Performing Sales Teams is designed for sales leaders whose results depend on the performance of others. The course covers the main responsibilities of sales management: defining the sales structure and territories, setting realistic targets, recruiting and onboarding salespeople, coaching in the field, motivating through recognition and incentives, and managing underperformance. It also addresses sales process design, pipeline and forecast reviews, and the use of CRM data and key metrics to diagnose problems and focus effort where it will make the greatest difference.
Participants work through sales management case studies, practice coaching and performance conversations in role plays, and build a sales team dashboard and action plan for their own team. Discussion draws on the realities of managing multicultural sales teams in the region. The course is available as a public course in Doha, live online, or as an in-house program for organizations developing their sales managers and supervisors.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
Design sales structures, territories and targets that are fair and achievable
Recruit, select and onboard salespeople against a clear competency profile
Coach salespeople using observation, feedback and structured coaching conversations
