Install, configure, update and repair Windows and business applications with confidence, and resolve crashes, compatibility problems, driver issues and malware infections methodically.
The Software Installation and Troubleshooting course in Doha, Qatar teaches support staff how to deploy and maintain software reliably on Windows computers. It covers clean Windows installation, drivers, application installers, package managers such as winget, Microsoft 365 Apps, updates and licensing. A large part of the course is devoted to troubleshooting: tracking down why an application crashes, will not start, runs slowly or conflicts with another program, and choosing the least disruptive fix that solves the problem.
Participants work in virtual machines where they can install, break and repair systems freely. They practice reading Event Viewer logs, using SFC and DISM to repair system files, rolling back drivers and updates, booting into Safe Mode and removing malware. The trainer also explains change control and documentation so fixes are repeatable. The course can be delivered as an in-house program for organizations that want staff trained on their standard software set and deployment tools.
