Set up and run Odoo Accounting: chart of accounts, journals, invoices, vendor bills, payments, bank reconciliation, analytic accounting, assets and financial reports.
The Odoo Accounting & Finance course in Doha, Qatar gives accountants and finance staff practical, hands-on knowledge of managing the books in Odoo. Participants learn how a fiscal localization package provides the starting chart of accounts, how journals for sales, purchases, bank, cash and miscellaneous entries are organized, and how invoices, vendor bills and payments flow into the general ledger. The course explains the difference between the Invoicing app and the full Accounting app, so learners know which features apply to their edition.
Exercises follow a realistic accounting cycle in a training database: issuing customer invoices and credit notes, recording vendor bills, registering payments, importing bank statements and reconciling them with matching rules. Learners then use analytic plans to track costs by project or department, manage payment follow-ups, handle multi-currency transactions and deferred revenue, and set lock dates before producing the balance sheet, profit and loss and aged reports. Tax setup is shown generically. Odoo offers its own certification, but this is independent training, not official Odoo training, and it can run as an in-house program for organizations using Odoo.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
Configure the chart of accounts, journals, payment terms and fiscal positions in Odoo.
Create and post customer invoices, credit notes and vendor bills.
Register payments and reconcile bank statements using reconciliation models.
Track costs and revenues with analytic accounts, analytic plans and budgets.
