Talent Management Strategy
Design a talent management strategy that identifies critical roles and high-potential employees, develops them through targeted programs and builds succession pipelines that support business goals.
Run a complete, fair recruitment process, from defining the role and sourcing candidates to shortlisting, interviewing, assessing and making a well-documented hiring decision and offer.
This Recruitment, Interview and Selection course follows the hiring process from start to finish. Participants learn how to confirm the need for a role, write clear job advertisements, choose sourcing channels, screen applications and design a selection process that combines interviews with other assessment methods. The emphasis is on the whole recruitment cycle and the decisions made at each stage, so that organizations attract suitable candidates, treat applicants fairly and reduce the cost of poor hiring decisions.
Training is hands-on. Participants build a recruitment plan for a sample vacancy, create shortlisting criteria, compare interview formats, practice structured interviews and review reference and background checks. They also look at the candidate experience, offer management and onboarding as part of retention. For organizations, the course can be run as an in-house program using real vacancies, existing recruitment forms and the organization's own hiring approval process.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
Plan a recruitment campaign based on a clear role profile and person specification
Select suitable sourcing channels, including job boards, referrals and social media
Design objective shortlisting criteria and screen applications consistently
Choose appropriate selection methods such as interviews, tests and work sample exercises
Conduct structured interviews and record evidence accurately
Make, document and communicate fair selection decisions and job offers

Recruitment in Qatar often involves candidates from many countries, alongside national graduates entering the workforce, so hiring teams need processes that are clear, consistent and fair. Organizations in energy, construction, healthcare, hospitality and government compete for skilled people, and a poor hire is costly when relocation and visa arrangements are involved. Structured recruitment also supports workforce nationalisation goals and the human-development aims of Qatar National Vision 2030 by identifying and developing local talent.
Join a scheduled class at our training center in Doha or attend live online. For organizations, the course can run as an in-house program at your premises or online, tailored to your sector, case studies and timetable.
It is a practical course on the full hiring cycle: planning a vacancy, attracting and sourcing candidates, shortlisting, interviewing and assessing, then making and documenting a fair selection decision and job offer, followed by onboarding.
It is intended for HR and recruitment officers, talent acquisition specialists, HR assistants who coordinate vacancies, and line managers who hire for their own teams. Business owners responsible for recruitment will also find it useful.
This course covers the whole recruitment cycle, from workforce need and sourcing through shortlisting, assessment, offers and onboarding, with interviewing as one module. A competency-based interviewing course goes much deeper into interviewer technique, behavioral questioning and scoring.
