Learn to administer Windows Server day to day: manage roles with Server Manager, Windows Admin Center and PowerShell, run DNS, DHCP and file services, secure servers and troubleshoot problems.
The Windows Server Administration course in Doha, Qatar teaches the skills needed to run Microsoft Windows Server in a business network. Using current releases such as Windows Server 2022 and Windows Server 2025, participants learn to manage servers through Server Manager, Windows Admin Center and PowerShell, choose between Desktop Experience and Server Core, and operate core infrastructure roles including DNS, DHCP, file and storage services, and IIS. Security baselines, updates and monitoring are covered as part of normal operations.
The course is practical from start to finish. In a lab of virtual servers, learners configure DHCP scopes and DNS zones, publish file shares with the correct NTFS and share permissions, build Storage Spaces, schedule backups and read Event Viewer and Performance Monitor data to trace faults. PowerShell is used throughout so repetitive tasks can be scripted. The program can also be run in-house for an organization, reflecting its own server estate and operating procedures.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
Manage Windows Server using Server Manager, Windows Admin Center and PowerShell
Deploy and configure DNS zones, records and DHCP scopes with failover
Publish file shares with correct NTFS and share permissions and DFS namespaces
Configure storage with disks, volumes and Storage Spaces
Apply security baselines, updates and Windows Defender Firewall rules
