Women as Leaders is a leadership development program designed for women who lead, or aspire to lead, in their organizations. It focuses on the skills and choices that support leadership growth: developing confidence and a clear leadership identity, communicating with authority, negotiating for resources and opportunities, building networks and sponsorship, and managing career progression alongside other commitments. The course recognizes the strengths women bring to leadership and the practical challenges they may encounter along the way.
The program takes a supportive, practical approach. Participants complete self-assessments, practice assertive communication and negotiation in role plays, work on their personal brand and career map, and share experiences in facilitated peer discussion. Case studies explore leadership journeys in different sectors. The course can be run as an in-house program to support an organization's women's leadership or talent development initiatives.
